Albert Anastasia, head of Murder Inc. and boss of what would become the Gambino crime family, was found on the barbershop floor of the Park-Sheraton Hotel on W. 55th St. The reputed chief executioner of Muder Inc. was slain by unknown assailants at 10:18 am on October 25, 1957.
